This past Saturday, beautiful Kayla walked down the aisle to her awaiting charming best friend, Nick. The evening was held at Georgia Southern Botanical Garden. Those images are being culled and edited as I type. However, what I’m so excited to share with you is Kayla’s bridal portraits! Wearing a beautiful gown from La’ren Bell, Kayla was stunning. Together we ventured to Bestheda Academy and enjoyed the serenity. It’s been SO difficult to keep these under wraps. So excited to share! Hugs, Alicja
In the short span that I have been on this Earth I’ve come to the conclusion that things which takes courage to do are also the most satisfying and often times fun. For instance, roller coasters, I hate them. No.. really.. I.HATE.THEM. but after the fact I’m always smiling. It’s the nerves more than anything else that I hate battling. The click-click-click while the carts go up the apex of the incline. Yep, I’m getting butterflies just thinking about it. But boudoir photography is often the same thing. VERY often I hear, “Oh! I want to do some boudoir images!” and rarely does it happen. Kinda like sky diving. I want to do it.. but am I going to, really? (butterflies again) Every time after a boudoir session, each foxy lady shared how fun, confidence-boasting, and how much they loved the images. The satisfaction I get to see a lady step into courage for her (future) spouse is rewarding. Two weeks ago I had the joy of crafting images of a beautiful lady in her large backyard. We discussed the theme of the shoot and I just knew I had to use the canopy that I have. It was a gorgeous set. I think you can agree :) I don’t share my lovelies’ images online, however if you’re interested in a boudoir shoot just let me know. Each session comes with a 6×6 leather album to astound
Newly wed VaRanda hired Taken to craft some glamourous Bridal Portraits only months after I moved from Miami to Savannah. Waiting 5+ months to share these has been difficult!
“Fire Lickin’” Maternity session? Why, yes! When there’s a firefighter involved ;)
We all know how special a baby is; but I argue that women who’ve struggled to conceive have a much greater understanding of the preciousness of new life. J, is one of those ladies ♥
Each portrait session has a funny story and this one is worth sharing :) So as I was waiting for the very beautiful Jessica for her maternity session. I got out my car and apparently I was looking hot (or at least more fancy than I-am-here-take-some-amazing-portraits). A guy across the way waved at me and tried to flag me over. Thinking this could have been my client I yelled, “Are you Jessica’s husband?” Then I noticed he had a camera in his hand! HAHAHA – We were both photographers thinking we were each other’s clients! Heehee. Well that made it an interesting morning – at 6:30! But Jessica made it a speechless morning. Her beautiful form in the midst of God’s awesome colors and light spoke loads to my heart. Let the peace and sweetness of these images wash over you. A BIG thanks to my photo assistant (A you rock!). Without her these images wouldn’t have been nearly as breathtaking. Truly yours
Awww, Matheson Hammock, how I love thee – really. You have such amazing opportunity for pics – no matter the session. Whats great is having a beautiful mom-to-be in the foreground. Seriously – stunning. Momma-to-be was up to do anything, including climbing trees and getting soaked for picture’s sake. I wish SO bad that I was that cute when I was prego! Truly yours
