This mom is full of ideas. One of my favorites ~ a father’s day gift of an office collage of her husband’s favorite people
What a blast! First I got to venture out to what I would call the “country-side” of Miami. Being from the country, like banjo-pickin’, one gas stop, watch out for hunters – country, Miami is another world. So when I came across what looked like a dirt road, mild traffic, and silence I was amazed. Am I still in Miami? Sun, palm trees, HEAT – yep. It’s Miami. But the better side, in my opinion. Secondly, what a family! Been married for 10+ years, with 2 very will tame-ahem- behaved kids ;) I was in heaven. Gorgeous family with sweet hearts. What a pleasure! Truly yours
What a rush! We just had our annual Christmas Minis, which are when we rent out a space in a local conference room and transform it into a gorgeous set. This year the idea was Christmas lights. Besides the smell of a Christmas tree, the lights are my second fav – so of course I had to figure out a way to incorporate them. Big thanks to the Best Western in West Kendall for helping us out – and especially Joe, the set-up guy. He was SO great and carried in my studio equipment. Taken is finishing out the year with portraits and weddings. We’re excited to focus on our remaining sessions and then updating our site and investment guides. So in love with this family. Lisa, the founder of Believe in Hope, a non-profit that is geared towards alleviating the hardship of families dealing with cancer or another life-alternating situation, is also the sweet mother of 3 kiddos. One of which is turning 15 shortly. When talking she shared her daughter’s love of simplistic design. Loves green, and isn’t your typical puffy dress girl. I’m noticing a trend of people who hire me – they don’t want traditional ;) Thank you Angela for being my #1 helper during the shoot <3 Truly yours
What beauty I experienced – not only the face, but also the sincerity of love between a mother and her daughters. Having 2 daughters myself, though still quite young, this photo shoot hit a chord in my heart. This will be me one day. Hopefully any wisdom I’ve attained, any understanding, but mostly how to love and forgive, I pray I pass down to my sweet boogers. Many blessings to this beautiful family! Big thanks to Angela – you rocked the light mods and suggestions, sister! Truly yours
Each time I go to Matheson Hammock Park I’m excited. The park is SO big that there’s tons of places to explore and craft out-of-this-world images. Missy, the mom, was looking for a photographer for that was more edgier that your traditional Quince portraits. I was stoked when we talked and learned of her and her daughter’s tastes. Up my alley – totally! I loved getting to know you more and spending time with you!  <3 Truly yours
The amazing people I get to meet, and the breathtaking beauty I have the honor to capture is something I will never get over. Our Quince session at Matheson Hammock Park was no different. The sky, which I didn’t think could become more beautiful, continually out did itself as a storm rolled in. The water was still and tranquil, and the misquotes apparently was sucking someone else’s life-stream (sorry but thanks!). Most importantly, a sweet girl, becoming a lady, was in front of my lens. Our Quince sessions come with 2 locations. To see the first half of this shoot check out her daddy’s ranch. For more, read about an amazing sight that happened during this shoot. Truly yours
Recently I got the fun adventure of crafting images of the love between a girl and her horse. I did grow up in the country, but around chickens and pigeons (my dad raced them) but NOT around horses. Overly cautious is an adequate description of my inner climate, BUT regardless I charged forward (slowly though, didn’t want to startle the 300 lb+ beauty). We still have another hour of shoot time left <3 more images to come. To learn more about Quince or Senior pics check out the 2010 Investment Guide. Truly yours
