You won’t see many newborn sessions shot by Taken…however if the newborn happens to be my son then there’s a certain bending of norms.

Robbie was born March 5, early butt in the morning. He’s our third child, and like our two girls, he’s a charmer at first glance.

Big thanks to Melinda, an awesome friend, lighting assistant, and cook (my husband actually had seconds of her chicken pot pie – unheard of!)

Taken doesn’t get many commissions for Newborn Portraits in the Savannah and Rincon area, but that doesn’t mean I don’t like doing them. It’s a different animal – newborn photography – taking hours and patience of the saints, ensuring lil bundles stay nice and asleep. OO – it also takes plenty of milk and heat ;)

Anyhoo, I was looking for a newborn photographer and of course, being my picky self, couldn’t find one with a style I liked – bold patterns and colors. So, I decided to take on the challenge and create them myself. Being one week post-delivery there was no way I could have done this without Melinda helping! Big hearts, girlie !
