Jessica & Chase were married May 5 at Woodlawn Plantation in Guyton, GA. Jessica won an annual contest, Blessfully Taken, we d0 where we give away free Wedding Coverage to a bride that deserves it. She was nominated, then friends and family rallied together to bring enough votes to win. I couldn’t have been more ecstatic.
You see, in the past 3 years that Taken has done this, the Blessfully Taken Brides have been over and beyond the sweetest, most compassionate women I’ve met. Quickly I endear them as friends and enjoy witnessing as their love blossoms into a family.
Jessica is no different. Sweetness was present from the very first meeting with her mom, Anita. On the wedding day Ms. Anita called me family :) Jessica’s dad came up and told me the sweetest “Thank You” I’ve ever received. And to even make the day sweeter my light assistant and associate/second shooter offered to work for free (since this was a free wedding) to aid me in covering Jessica’s day like I would any other.

Alicja, thank you for the opportunity you gave Jessica and Chase. I am her sister-in-law. Never did I imagine when I nominated them for the contest last year, that it would be this amazing. I wish I could go back in time to have you photograph my wedding. Not only is your work spectacular, but your attitude and assistants were amazing. Again, thank you. Not only do Jessica and Chase look wonderful, but so does my grooms cake Archie!
